Hashirimizu Shinto shrine is a Shinto shrine with the tradition to which prince Yamatotakeru who is Keikou emperor's son and Yamatotakeru's princess Ototachibana are deified.
The sea was rough when it was possible to extend from Hashirimizu to Kamifusa(CHiba) because prince Yamatotakeru governed peoples in the east, the wave was high, and the ship was exposed to the crisis of theoverthrow.
The wave was calmed down when the princess Ototachibana entered the rough sea if quietened angry of the god in the sea and prince was able to go safely across the sea.
It is recorded that it is a story of about 370 years at the Christian era in the manual of the Hashirimizu Shinto shrine.
