We went to the Apra harbor by hotel pick up car, in order to join an underwater adventure experience in a specially designed boat "NAUTILUS". It took about 20 minutes from the hotel to the harbor. It was the voyage for about 15 minutes to adventure point of near the entrance of the Apra harbor. On the upper deck, we had service of iced soft drink. There are three crew including a captain. The NAUTILUS anchored from the shore to the about 50m offing. It was the distance near the shore than expected. We went into the view room to see the coral colorful fishes.
There are windows of big tempered glass in the both-sides of a view room, and two sheets which were the photographs and names of fishes are carried out in each seat. Two crews attached the tank and they jumped in all over the sea, and hanging the bag containing food near the boat, many fishes had flocked at once. Crews catched an octopus, a rock trout and a starfish etc., and pushed and showed them as windows.
Most fishes are sixbanded sergeantmajor and butterflyfish and wrasse, etc. are mixed. Although we cannot see the fishes of the deep sea by this boat, in the round voyage to an adventure point we can enjoy the sunshine, sea breeze, and coral reefs etc. on the deck. Moreover, even children and old persons can use this boat for gentle and short hatch.
