Marine houses are also built on the seashore in summer, and many sea-bathing visitor come to Hashirimizu beach.
A lot of visiter for fishing come to warm Miura peninsula in the winter.
The boat shops and the restaurants for fresh fish cooking open the houses all the year round.
There are the Hashirimizu Shrine, the Kannonzaki Lighthouse and the Kannonzaki Nature Museum in near here. Here is one of the sightseeing courses in Yokosuka.
Good spring water in near is starting springing. Service institution has been prepared in the water-service office so that water with a nice passerby may be good to drink. The first water service has been completed in the city in 1874 using this. Present one day springs and the amount of water is expected as water of the life at the time of a calamity by about 2000 †G.
