Seven friends of the senior swimming club and I visited the Yokosuka Iris Garden Tue., June 5, 2001 under Iris Festival (June 1 to 30). We admired brilliant irises called 412 sorts of 140,000 stocks on the cloudy day in the intervals of a rainy season.
With this time, water lilies and hydrangeas (1,175 stocks) are also best time to see. The alpine rose (1,350) in April and May and the wisteria (250) in the middle of April and middle of May also occupies a remarkable area.
I want to introduce irises and also including onother flowers out of season to you.
