Since the Yokosuka city natural museum attached Mabori biological garden is in the forest of about 3.3 ha located in the back hand of a Mabori junior high school.Many trees grow thick , and nature is good and wild birds are also saved.Protection multiplication of a firefly is carried out using a brook inside the garden, and it has become nationally and famous.If light of street light illuminates a bank and a river too much brightly, since fireflies will come to block taking out courtship signals with light of the hips, it must take caution in the place which fireflies inhabit. Almost all fireflies inside the garden will not be seen these 2-3 years,because it is dearth of water.
