A part of the U.S. Navy Yokosuka base is opened in the beginning of April every year, and Japan-American Cherry Blossoms Festival is holding.
It is lively in the parade of the band and dance etc.
Besides this, a part of facilities is opened on the friendship day, we can visit the coming and vessel. We can buy the U.S. military family's handmade cakes and steaks, etc. in the branch shop. (Keikyu Shioiri Station getting off. about15-minute by foots. It differs according to the place of opening the gate. Waiting time is separately. The morning of 2005 is for about 45 minutes.)
This year was held on April 3. The flowering of cherry blossoms was a little late, and about 20% blooming.
